Braid in a Week · online bootcamp
Your first neat Dutch braid, in just 5 days.
5-day online event where parents master Dutch braids. Running 4 to 8 October. One small exercise a day and I go live every day to answer your questions and help you out.

One small drill daily
Small exercises for a few minutes a day and by the end of it you can do a full Dutch braid.
Checked live, every day
I go live every day to answer your questions and help everyong out.
A clean braid by Day 5
As a finished result, a clean Dutch braid on your kid's hair.
You've watched all the tutorials but still can't braid.
You do a ponytail in the morning and she comes home looking like she's been in a wind tunnel. The braid you want to do instead comes out loose, the part sits crooked, and every attempt ends this way.
Watched tutorials and still feel stuck
Most tutorials assume that you know things that you actually don't. They skip one small detail, and now you're stuck.
“I'm not good with my hands.”
That's what most parents who came to my classes thought about themselves, and they walked out braiding.
You fail once and worry to try again
The first real try happens the morning of photo day or the concert, with a clock running and a wriggling kid. You fail once and never want to try again.
The salon does it instead.
$40 to $80 a session solves the occasion and reinforces the belief: braiding is a thing professionals do, not me.

Frequently asked questions
Camp assumes zero. Day 1's exercise is a basic three-strand plait, and everything harder is drilled on a small section first. You don't need to be good at braiding to start camp. That's what the five days are for.
Every lesson and live has a replay, and everything stays open until Sunday 11 October. The exercises take minutes, so a missed day catches up in one sitting.
Absolutely. I braid curly and coily hair every day in my salon. The technique I teach works on any hair. The only difference is hair prep.
Honestly? The camp is how I introduce my membership. Some campers will love the week and join, and there's no obligation either way. The ticket stands on its own: five days, the lessons, and the live calls.
Ticket payments aren't refundable, because you get instant access to camp materials. The bet is $10 and five days, and the worst case is your hands learn three drills they didn't know before.
